Therme Meran.
Since December 2005, the citizens of Merano have been enjoying Europe's newest spa. A great empathy for the distinctive features of the locality has made it possible to successfully do justice to the venerable spa town and spa tradition, the majestic alpine setting and to modern architecture. This complexity was translated into the building of a spa in keeping with the spirit of our times.
The internal architecture bears the signature of the brilliant architect and designer, Matteo Thun. His feel for materials, his language of colour and his sense of symbolism reflect the natural world and geography of South Tyrol.
