Odyssey of the Seas.
The 25th ship of the Royal Caribbean Group was built by the german Meyer Werft shipyard and will enter service in Haifa (Israel) in May 2021. The ocean giant, which also belongs to the "Quantum Ultra Class", is characterized by architectural highlights such as the extensively glazed stern with a 270° sea view.
In terms of environmental protection, this cruise ship sets standards: the "Lubrication System" was installed for the first time. This technology reduces the frictional resistance between the water surface and the ship's hull by utilizing the air bubbles that are formed on the hull. So the fuel consumption can be reduced between 4-7%.
This superlative luxury liner has the largest indoor activity center at sea - "SeaPlex Arena". This arena is a small floating amusement park, which has bumper cars, a climbing hall, 3D cinema as well as many virtual reality offers. The "North Star" represents another highlight of this ship. According to the Guinness Book of Records, North Star is "the highest observation deck on a cruise ship". The pool deck is designed in the style of a hotel resort: two open-air pools and four whirlpools as well as a wide range of other sports facilities - no boredom will come up. The high demands on quality and aesthetics were only realted to the ship's architecture and the entertainment program, but are also continued in the public sanitary facilities. Therefore, Schäfer Trennwandsysteme was chosen as the supplier for the WC partitions to be installed. With its high-quality type WC partitions of the type EF-3 Marine, Schäfer supplied the ideal product for this luxury liner. The EF-3 Marine WC partition has been specially developed for use at sea.The perfect companion on board!
These sanitary partitions from Schäfer provide passengers with maximum privacy and well-being in a modern designed toilet facility.
