Training Ship "Gorch Fock".
The sail training ship "Gorch Fock" was commissioned by the German Navy on 17th December 1958. For over 60 years, it has served the purpose of training officer candidates for their tasks in the naval forces. In the natural environment of a ship, the officer trainees learn about the elementary forces that prevail at sea and how to deal with them. The Gorch Fock has 23 sails with an area of 1,800 square metres of the most modern sailcloth on her three masts. In order to be manoeuvrable even in absolute calm and for harbour entrances, the sailing ship also has a diesel engine.
The Gorch Fock was completely restored in 2021 and equipped with high-quality WC partition walls from Schäfer Trennwandsysteme. The WC partition walls of the "NAVIC" series were specially developed for the requirements on the high seas. NAVIC WC partition walls meet all the prescribed requirements of the currently applicable fire protection regulations and are absolutely seawater-compatible.In addition to their excellent functionality, NAVIC WC partition walls are also characterised by their high design and quality standards, which also create a pleasant atmosphere in public sanitary facilities.
